THE BASICS
Casey Raggett scored the first of her two goals in the 13th minute off a pass from Kayla Lentini. Alex Mattson netted the eventual game-winner unassisted less than a minute later, then Frances Best sent a ball from the right side over SVU goalkeeper Savannah Uri's head and the lead was 3-0.

Raggett took a pass from Best and found the left side of the net in the 64th minute of play to make it a runaway at 4-0. Following a 30-minute lightning delay, Laurel Storheim scored a goal in the 74th minute to help the Knights avoid the shutout.

Taylor Dodson played all 90 minutes in net for Ferrum, making four saves. Uri spent just shy of 66 minutes in net for the Knights with one stop.
