FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's soccer team fell to Randolph-Macon College in home Old Dominion Athletic Conference action, losing 4-2 at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Randolph-Macon took full control of this one in the first half, collecting 11 shots in the frame. Colton Howell put the Yellow Jackets up in the 30th minute after he finished a deflection off of a Ferrum defender. Bryce Martin would then double the Randolph-Macon advantage with an unassisted goal and make it 2-0.

The closing stanza would see the Yellow Jackets strike first as well, as Penny Senior took a Howell delivery and finished it for a 3-0 advantage. The Panthers would then gain some momentum as Leo Galpin would find a header in the box off of a Jeffery Calix delivery from a corner kick, and Ferrum would make it 3-1 on their first shot of the contest.

The Yellow Jackets would then push things out of reach in the 77th minute with a goal from Kodi Tannor, making it a 4-1 contest. Ferrum found the net one more time in the 86th minute, as Daniel Aguirre finished a piece by Galpin and Callum Harrison to make it 4-2, but that was all the Panthers were able to create on offense.
