Box Score WINCHESTER, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's soccer team fell on the road to Shenandoah University Saturday evening, 2-0, at Sprint Field.

THE BASICS
The first stanza was played evenly for the first 30:00 of game time, with neither team able to breakthrough. Shenandoah's Conner Robles answered the call in the 39th minute, finding the back of the net for just the second time on the year.
The Panthers would outshoot Shenandoah 5-4 in the first half, but would find themselves trailing 1-0 at the halftime break.
Shenandoah would then find some offensive momentum in the closing stanza, besting the Panthers in the shots department at 11-4. Ferrum was able to keep things within reach, not allowing the Hornets to find an insurance goal until the 85th minute. Matthew Allen would find the back of the net from a Nathan Yared delivery to put things out of reach, and the contest would end 2-0.
