Panther Women Fall Victim to Late Goal on the Road

GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- The Ferrum College women's soccer team fell to Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Guilford College, 1-0, at Appenzeller Field.

THE BASICS
Crystal Rivas shot just outside the box and scored the lone goal for the Quakers in the 65th minute of play.

Goalkeeper Abbey Hayes made three saves to help Ferrum stay in the game.

The Panthers had a total of 12 shots compared to Guilford's eight.
