FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College women's soccer team fell to the Eagles of Bridgewater College at Penn-Rodiger Field Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action, 3-0.

THE BASICS
Bridgewater got on the board early as Ashley Sabatino found the back of the net just six minutes into the game to take a 1-0 lead.

The Eagles would then double their lead in the 20th-minute as Kaia Richardson would convert a cross into the box from Maren Dougherty.

The Bridgewater attack was held at bay throughout until the 84th-minute when Rachel Bullard found pay dirt on a Lauren Pion pass.

Ferrum was able to amass five saves compared to Bridgewater's three, but was outshot 13-7.
