Box Score BRIDGEWATER, Virginia -- Enzo Guercio's unassisted goal five minutes into the second overtime period gave Ferrum College a 2-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's soccer win over Bridgewater College this afternoon at Bridgewater Soccer Complex.

THE BASICS
The two teams battled to a scoreless draw in the first half, then Daniel Aguirre got Ferrum on the scoreboard first with an unassisted goal in the 65th minute of play. Bridgewater's Ian LaVallee tied the game at 1-1 with a goal at 73:14 off a pass from Alex Martinez. That was all the scoring in regualtion.
Ferrum had a scoring opportunity late in the first overtime denied, but Guercio broke through with an unassisted goal in the 105th minute of play for the ODAC win.
The Panthers outshot Bridgewater 13-6 and closed the game with a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.
