Box Score FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's soccer team made it two straight with a home victory at Penn-Roediger Field Sunday afternoon over Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Eastern Mennonite University, 2-1.

THE BASICS
Thomas Roth got things started for the Panthers, as he finished a beautiful flick from Alvaro Garaizar in the 6th-minute and Ferrum took the 1-0 advantage.
The 57th-minute saw Panther keeper William Winters be whistled for a foul after making a play on a direct kick, giving the Royals an opportunity from the spot. Leiyan Kariuki would convert the penalty and Eastern Mennonite would draw even.
The Panthers would then answer back just seconds later, as Enzo Guercio found the back of the net from a Kent Meier assist, and Ferrum would see their 2-1 advantage out until the final whistle.
Ferrum outshot the Royals 23-2.
