SPARTANBURG, South Carolina -- Ferrum College's cross country teams competed this morning at the 2021 Converse Kick-Off Regional Preview. The race featured with some of the best programs in the country. 

THE BASICS
Lenior-Rhyne College grabbed the women's 6K team title, with Wingate University's Lara Orrock winning the individual title in a field of 207 runners. Genesis Pineiro was first for the Ferrum women, finishing 131st.

In the men's 8K race, Emory University took home the team title, while UNC-Pembroks's Josh Chepkesir was first in a field of 282 runners. Domonique Veney was the top Ferrum runner, finishing 121st.
