FINAL RESULTS

SALEM, Virginia -- Ferrum College's cross country teams competed this afternoon in the Rooney Invitational, hosted by Roanoke College at Green Hill Park.

MEN'S TEAM SCORES
1. UVA-Wise 43; 2. Hampden-Sydney 55; 3. Gardner-Webb74;  4. Roanoke 77; 5. Randolph 90; 6. Bluefield State 173

TOP INDIVIDUALS
Randolph's Cody Thompson and Tanner Cochran finished one-two in the event. UVA Wise's Jonah Adams and Erin Hegg were third and fourth respectively, while unattached runner Jonathan Goerlich rounded out the top five spots.

FERRUM FOURSOME
Josh Mills was Ferrum's top runner, finishing 39th in a field of 61 runners. Jackson Horton was 53rd, Greyson Crouch 58th and Sterling Wingfield was 61st.

FERRUM WOMEN
Ferrum's Alex Prillaman competed in the women's race, finishing 30th in a field of 43 runners.
