HARRISONBURG, Virginia -- Ferrum College's men and women's cross country team opened the season at the EMU Heritage Cross Country Invitational 5K race.

THE BASICS
The men placed fifth out of six team, with senior Clayton Stanford finishing with a team best time of 18:35.2 out of a field of 78 runners composed of a Division I school, a Division II school, and four Division III schools.
