Box Score DANVILLE, Virginia -- Piedmont University used a Cameron Earls first-half hat trick to lead the Pride over Ferrum College, 3-1, Saturday night inside of Frank R. Campbell Stadium on the campus at Averett University.

THE BASICS
Cameron Earls got the Pride on the board in the 6th minute from a Matthew Loftin pass to take a 1-0 lead. Earls then added two more, one in the 27th minute and the other in the 29th minute, to push things to 3-0 before the halfway break.
Jeffery Calix found the back of the net for the Panthers in the 84th minute via a penalty kick to make it a 3-1 game, but Ferrum ran out of time with the comeback bid.
