Box Score FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped its men's soccer home opener tonight to Guilford College, falling 4-1 under the lights at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Kenny Nzekwe scored twice in the first 29 minutes of play to spot Guilford a 2-0 halftime lead. Riley Copeland was credited with assists on both goals.
Jasper Ardinger made it a 3-0 game when he ripped a shot from 30 yards out on the right site and found the upped left corner of the net, the only Quaker goal that was unassisted.
Rodrigo Gudino added an insurance goal in the 83rd minute, as Copeland earned his third assist on the night.
Callum Harrison helped Ferrum avoid the shutout with a goal in the final minute of play, his first goal of the season for the Panthers.
