FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men's basketball game to Randolph-Macon College this afternoon in Swartz Gymnasium. The Yellow Jackets are currently the top-ranked team in the country in the D3hoops.com poll.

THE BASICS
Randolph-Macon and Ferrum traded baskets back and forth through the first eleven minutes of the game. A layup by Ayden Gamble and Darius Kemp gave the Panthers a three-point lead, 19-16 with 8:50 to go in the first half.
A DaQuan Morris 3-pointer sparked an 11-0 run for RMC, to take a 27-19 lead. Bryce Hall sank a three-pointer to get Ferrum back within five with just under five minutes to play in the first half. The Yellow Jackets closed out the half with a 10-2 run, taking a 37-24 lead at the break.
Taqwain Drummond swished a three-pointer for the Panthers to start the second half. A layup by Miles Mallory and a jumper by Buzz Anthony ignited a 13-3 run, giving RMC a 50-27 lead. Randolph-Macon closed the game on a 9-2 run in the final four minutes of play.
Kemp and Anthony led all scorers with 17 points each.
