BRIDGEWATER, Virginia – Ferrum College dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) baseball doubleheader with Bridgewater College this afternoon, falling in the opener 9-0 and 11-1 in the second game at BC Baseball Field.

GAME ONE
In the opener, Bridgewater two runs in the bottom of the first to grab a 2-0 lead. Brandan Hartman drove in a run in the third, to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead. Jeffrey Snider tripled to right field to bring in two runs and would later score on a wild pitch, to lead 6-0. Tristain Gordon doubled to drive in another two runs and Brett Tharp tripled and then scored on the play by an from the Panthers.

GAME TWO
Bridgewater took an Early 1-0 lead after a Kevin Navedo sacrifice flyball in the first inning. In the third the Eagles added to their lead of an RBI single and a sacrifice fly. Collon Reid doubled to add to the lead, 4-0 in the fifth. Hunter Clever doubled to drive in two more runs in the seventh, to lead 6-0. Bridgewater added five more runs in the bottom of the eighth, two from RBI groundouts, a single to left field, and a double to left field to lead 11-0. Clayton Michael drove in the Panthers lone run on a single to left field in the Ninth inning to close out the scoring for the day, 11-1.
