Box Score GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- Bryce Vestal had a pair of home runs to lift Guilford College to a 16-7 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) baseball win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Edgar H. McBane Field.

THE BASICS
Nick Funk scored off Justin Brady's grounded out to second base in the top of the second inning to give Ferrum a 1-0 lead. Guilford responded with four runs in the bottom of the third inning, then Vestal had a solo homer to center field in the fourth and the Quakers led 5-1 after four innings.
Guilford exploded for seven runs in the fifth inning to extend the lead to 12-1. Ferrum scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning, including Ozzie Torres' solo homer to center field and Dylan Sereno's double to center field to drive in three runs and cut the lead to 12-5.
Vestal hit his second home run of the day in the bottom of the sixth, this time a three-run shot, to make it a 15-5 game. The Panthers picked up two runs in the seventh inning on Tyson Measamer's single down the left field line. Hayes Henderson's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the frame closed out scoring for Guilford.
