FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College senior men's golf standout Brandon Jones has accepted an invitation to work at The Masters Tournament in April. The 2026 Masters Tournament will take place from April 6–12, 2026, at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

Jones' father, Brian, works in Global Sports Partnerships at Bank of America, and passed along a contact with Augusta National Golf Club. After reaching out, Jones interviewed with a representative of Augusta National for the week of The Masters, and was offered and accepted a position. He and his younger brother Garrett will be working The Masters together. 

"I'm super excited to be working at such a highly respected event such as The Masters," said Jones. "I've been to The Masters before, but I'm excited to now have an opportunity to work behind the scenes. Who knows, maybe you'll see me on TV."

Jones' specific duties have yet to be outlined, but part of his role will be "Partnership Shopping Support." In this capacity, he will help run the South Shop, working directly with partners at Augusta National Golf Club and The Masters. 

The 2026 Masters Tournament (90th edition) features the traditional Monday through Wednesday practice rounds and a Par 3 contest, followed by tournament play Thursday through Sunday. Amazon Prime Video joins ESPN and CBS for early round coverage for the first time in 2026. 

Jones currently leads the Ferrum with a 75.8 stroke average through 20 rounds of play in 2025-26. He is ranked #149 regionally and #692 nationally among NCAA Division II golfers.

Following The Masters, Jones will wrap up his collegiate career at the 2026 Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championships Sunday through Tuesday, April 19-21. The event will be held at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina.
