FERRUM, Va. -- The Golf Coaches Association of America has announced its 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division II, and Ferrum College had two golfers earn the honor: Tiaan Diedericks and Brandon Jones.

Diedericks and Jones both graduated from Ferrum this past May, earning bachelor's degrees. Jones played four seasons with the Panthers, while Diedericks competed for two seasons. The Ferrum duo joined 207 other NCAA Division II student-athletes from 77 institutions across the country in earning 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA, or be receiving an associate's degree and in the final year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.

In addition, nominees must participate in at least 50% of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average below 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and carry a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. Recipients must also be of high moral character and in good standing at their college or university.

Twenty-two NCAA Division II schools had at least four recipients, including Catawba (5), Eckerd (5), Miles (5), Rockhurst (5), St. Mary's (Texas) (5), and West Florida (5). Tiffin and UMSL led NCAA Division II with six recipients each.
