Box Score YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Ferrum College Panthers baseball team fell to the Young Harris College Mountain Lions, 17–3, Saturday afternoon on the road. Garrett Pancione led Ferrum offensively with three hits and two RBIs, while CJ Kemmerer added two hits and an RBI for the Panthers.

THE BASICS
Young Harris jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the second inning and adding another in the third to take a 4–0 advantage. The Mountain Lions continued to build momentum with three more runs in the fourth inning.
Ferrum broke through in the fifth inning with three runs. Pancione highlighted the inning with a two-run double to put the Panthers on the board, and CJ Kemmerer followed with an RBI single to trim the deficit to 7–3. Young Harris responded in the bottom half of the inning with six runs and continued to add insurance with two runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to secure the 17–3 victory.
Pancione finished the day 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Kemmerer went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Tyler Mason, Niko Papathanasiou, and Hunter Carlson each recorded a hit for Ferrum.
On the mound, Brayden Weeks started for the Panthers and worked three innings with one strikeout. Steven Ritchie, Connor Courtney, Gavin Stone, and Drew Fisher all saw time in relief.
