FERRUM, Va. -- The Ferrum College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Emmanuel College tonight at home in Conference Carolinas action at Swartz Gymnasium. Set scores were 26-24, 17-25, 23-25, 23-25.

THE BASICS
Ferrum rallied to win a tightly contested opening set, 26-24, before Emmanuel answered by taking the second set 25-17 to even the match at 1-1.
The Panthers battled Emmanuel throughout the third and fourth sets, but the Lions prevailed 25-23 in both frames to secure the four-set victory.
Ferrum recorded 47 kills on 177 attacks and finished with a .136 hitting percentage. The Panthers also collected 45 assists, 10 service aces, eight total blocks and 63 digs.
