FERRUM, Va. -- Greensboro College completed a USA South Athletic Conference baseball sweep over Ferrum College with tonight's 7-4 win in Ferrum.  The Pride also beat Ferrum 6-4 yesterday.


 
Catcher Nick Baker went 4-5 with a double and a run scored.  Shortstop Jesse Fuller, third baseman Eric Harrell, centerfielder DJ Phillips and DH Jason Butterworth each had two base hits for Ferrum.

Starting pitcher Brian Bowles was credited with the loss.  He pitched 3.1 innings and allowed five runs (one earned), while striking out three and walking two.

Greensboro (17-8, 3-1 USA South) starter Jordan Dorsett scattered nine hits over seven innings to earn the win.  He allowed two earned runs, struck out two and walked two.

Ferrum (5-8, 2-4 USA South) is back in action tomorrow,  March 18, at Lynchburg College.  Game time is 6 p.m.  The Panthers will then entertain King College at 3 p.m. March 19.
