EMORY, Va. -- Ferrum College picked up a 15-6 win over Emory & Henry College in non-conference baseball action on the road March 27.

Dustin Howell went 3-4 with two RBI and a run, while outfielder
DJ Phillips went 3-5 with two runs and a stolen base. First baseman
Kevin Marshall went 2-4 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI. Marshall also reached base after being it by a pitched to open the fifth inning. Outfielder
Michael Nolte went 2-4 with a double and a run.
Tyler Milstead earned the win on the mound. Milstead scattered seven hits over six innings, allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out two.
William Campbell pitched two innings in relief and struck out two of the six batters he faced.
Nick Baker pitched the ninth inning, allowing no hits.
Ferrum (7-11) is back in action this Saturday and Sunday, March 29-30, for games at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. The USA South games are slated to get underway at 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
