FERRUM, Va. -- Brennen Iley homered in the sixth inning to help Ferrum College beat Washington and Lee University 4-0 in non-conference baseball action this afternoon at Panther Field.

Paul Jaglowski went 2-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run for Ferrum.  Wes Walker also went 2-4 and scored a run for the Panthers (11-5).  Chris Chris Madison earned the win, allowing five hits and no runs over five innings.  He walked three and struck out two.  Adam Duncan pitched the last four innings with two hits and no runs, two walks and a strikeout.

Jonathan Stutts went 3-4 with a double for the Generals (4-7).  Robert Strong absorbed the loss, pitching the first three innings and allowing four hits and a run.

Ferrum (11-5) returns to action Friday, March 9, at home against Virginia Wesleyan College.  The non-conference doubleheader gets underway at 3 p.m. at Panther Field.
