Courtney Hamm scored in overtime to lift Ferrum College to a 1-0 non-conference field hockey win this afternoon over Wells College. Hamm found the back of the net at 75:28 off an assist from
Kiani Mohica. Wells out-shot Ferrum 17-10 and closed the game with an 11-6 edge in penalty corners.

Courtney Gosslin played 75:28 in net for the Panthers (2-14) with 10 saves. Kendrick Wilson also played the entire 75:28 in net for Wells (0-15) with three stops. The two teams will face each other again Sunday, Nov. 2, at 12:00 p.m.
