FERRUM, Va. -- Devin Cassity, Kevin Oakey and Collier Donald had two base hits each to lead Roanoke College to a 10-6 non-conference baseball win over Ferrum College tonight at Panther Field.

Lane Deaver went 1-2 with a triple and an RBI for the Panthers.  Michael Mares pitched an inning in relief to get the win for Roanoke (9-11).  He allowed no hits or runs, walked one and struck out one.  Ferrum's Marquis Johnson was saddled with the loss, pitching an inning an a third with three hits allowed, an earned run, a walk and two strikeouts. 

Ferrum (17-10) will be back in action Friday and Saturday, April 4-5, at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.  The two teams play a single game Friday at 4:00 p.m and a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1:00 p.m.
