FERRUM, Va. -- Belle Tunstall scored a pair of goals and assisted on two others to lead Christopher Newport University past Ferrum College 6-0 in non-conference field hockey action this afternoon at Penn-Roediger Field.

Allie Hackbarth, Carol Thomspon, Samantha Snider and Madison Doss also scored a goal each the Captains (6-2). Starter Savanah Cummings split time in net with Stephanie McKinney and Bailey Lien to post the shared shutout. CNU outshot Ferrum 44-3. Alexis Atkinson had 14 saves in net for the Panthers (1-7).
