MARTINSVILLE, Va. -- Maggie Sands had a pair of goals to lead Washington and Lee University to a 5-0 non-conference field hockey win over Ferrum College tonight at Smith River Sports Complex.

Noelani Schulmeyer scored an unassisted at 3:10 and that was all the Generals would need. W&L scored goals in the 9th and 33rd minutes to grab a 3-0 halftime lead, then added a pair of insurance goals in the second half. Washington and Lee out-shot Ferrum 33-2.
