FERRUM, Va. -- Transylvania University defeated Ferrum College on Senior Day today 3-1 in a non-conference field hockey contest at Penn-Roediger Field.

How It Happened
Alyson Bergman opened the scoring up for the Pioneers in the 14th minute. Jessica Chandler added another goal for the Pioneers just 10 minutes later, in the 24th minute, with the assist from Kayla Thurlow. Sierra Magdaleno answered back with the lone goal for the Panthers in the 43rd minute with the assist form Alexandra Madden.The Pioneers sealed the victory with a goal from Faye Katz, with the assist coming from Chandler.
