Hornets Beat Ferrum 3-1 in Field Hockey

SALEM, Va. -- Shenandoah University picked up a 3-1 non-conference field hockey win over Ferrum College tonight at Roanoke College. The game was originally scheduled to be played Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Ferrum but rain caused the postponement and venue change.

How It Happened
Jessica Brown scored in the 12th minute of play to spot the Hornets a 1-0 halftime lead. Elizabeth Pardo and Jennifer Bonnell added insurance goals at 36:28 and 62:24, respectively. Kasey Sheets scored in the 63rd minute of play to help the Panthers avoid the shutout.
