BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Meredith Wimbrow scored four goals, while Paige Hennessy and Caroline Fletcher had three goals each as Bridgewater College beat Ferrum College 16-4 in non-conference women's lacrosse action this afternoon at Jopson Field.

Julianne Bove led the Panthers with two goals, and Shannon Brown had a goal and an assist. Graceanne Gershner made nine saves for the Panthers, playing all 60 minutes in net. The Eagles (3-3) got a pair of goals each from Jenna Devilbliss and Claire Palermo-Re. Rachel Gruber also played 60 minutes in net, making seven stops.

Ferrum (5-3) returns to action Friday, March 20, at home against Methodist University. The USA South match gets underway at 4:00 p.m. at Penn-Roediger Field.
