Shannon Brown had three goals and an assist but Ferrum College fell 16-4 in USA South Athletic Conference women's lacrosse play this afternoon at Meredith College.
Danielle Lee had four goals and three assists for the Avenging Angels, and Carlee Joseph had four goals and one assist. Griffin Hewett played all 60 minutes in net for Meredith (8-5, 3-1 USA South) with two saves.

Amanda Cheney played 43 minutes in net with eight goals allowed and 12 saves.
Ferrum (8-5, 3-2 USA South) returns to action Friday, April 3, at home against Greensboro College. The USA South game starts at 1:00 p.m. at Penn-Roediger Field.
