WINCHESTER, Va. -- Kayla Alderman had a pair of goals to lead Shenandoah University to a 7-0 non-conference field hockey win over Ferrum College tonight at Shentel Stadium.

Shenandoah led 2-0 at halftime on a goal each by Alderman and Megan Stevens. Alderman made it 3-0 when she scored her second goal in the 41st minute of play, and the Hornets went on to score four more goals down the stretch. Shenandoah outshot Ferrum 33-4 and took 14 penaltiy corners to the Panthers' two.
