MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- #6 seeded Ferrum College upset #3 Transylvania University in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Southern Athletic Association Field Hockey Tournament, posting a 1-0 win this afternoon at Rhodes College's Mason Field.

THE BASICS
Following a scoreless first half, Kiani Mohica notched an unassisted goal in the 58th minute of play and the Panther defense did the rest to preserve the shutout. With the win, Ferrum advances to tomorrow's 2:00 p.m. semifinal vs. #2 Centre College.
