FERRUM: Va. -- Kayla Marte had a pair of goals to lead Eastern Mennonite University to it's first Old Dominion Athletic Conference field hockey win of the season, beating Ferrum College 5-2 at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Reagan Aldridge gave Ferrum a short-lived lead with an unassisted goal in the 11th minute of play. Brandi Troutman got EMU on the board with an unassissted tally at 18:29. Maret then took a cross from Julie Burkhardte at 20:53 and found the back of the net for a 2-1 lead for the Royals.
Ferrum's Emily Campbell tied the game at 2-2 in the 30th minute of play off a pass from Brianna Sawyer. Eastern Mennonite would score three more goals from there to grab their first league win.
