LEXINGTON, Va. -- Lauren Paolano had three goals to lead Washington & Lee University to a 6-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference field hockey win over Ferrum College tonight at W&L Turf Field.

Paolano and Haley Tucker each scored for Washington & Lee in the first 10 minutes of play. Emily Campbell would get Ferrum on the scoreboard with a goal in the 28th minute of play off a pass from Morganne Flinkstrom. It was all Generals from there, as the home team put four more inside the box for the final score. W&L out-shot the Panthers 48-2 and closed with a 13-3 advantage in penalty corners.
