THE BASICS
Ferrum scored five runs in the fourth inning to erase a 2-0 deficit, including Matt Yarbrough's RBI double, Rufus Hurdle's RBI single and Benjamin Thomas' 2-RBI single.
Yarbrough would belt a solo homer over the left field fence in the fifth inning to give the Panthers a 6-2 lead after five full frames.
N.C. Wesleyan came back to score three runs in the sixth, four in the seventh and one in the eighth to take a 10-6 lead.
Grey Sherfey's sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning allowed Isaac Yeaman to score from third for Ferrum's final run.
