Box Score LEXINGTON, Virginia -- The Ferrum College field hockey team dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference contest on the road at Washington and Lee University Tuesday night under the lights, 6-0, at W&L Turf Field.

THE BASICS
Washington and Lee opened the scoring at the 12-minute mark as Grace Amaden found the back of the cage from a Tess Muneses delivery. The Generals then made it 2-0 near the end of the second stanza as Alexis Parks scored off of a deflection.
The Generals would start the third quarter getting two goals within a minute of each other, as Amaden would get her second followed by a Peyton Tysinger penalty corner goal from Kailey Fitzgerald. Parks would then convert her second goal of the game later in the quarter with Munesus' second dime of the contest.
Fitzgerald would round the General scoring out with a goal in the final frame, as Washington and Lee found their third league win on the season.

Austin's team will be back on the field Friday, March 26, inside of W.B. Adams Stadium to take on the University of Lynchburg. The ODAC game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
