Box Score FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped a nailbiter in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play this afternoon at home to visiting Bridgewater College, falling 7-6 at Panther Field. The game began at 1:00 p.m. and due to multiple weather related issues, concluded just past 7:20 p.m.

THE BASICS
Ferrum scored three runs in the second inning, including one off Justin Brady's RBI double to center field and one off Grey Sherfey's groundout to second base.
Tyson Measamer's single up the middle in the third inning drove in another run and Ferrum had a 4-0 lead after three complete innings.
Bridgewater got three runs in the fourth, but Ferrum answered with a run in the fifth off Josh Greenway's RBI double to left field to make it a 5-3 game after five.
The Eagles scored a pair of runs each in the sixth and seventh innings to grab a 7-5 lead. Ferrum plated a run in the seventh on Matt Yarbrough's RBI single to left field to account for the final score.
William Flanagan got the win for Bridgewater after pitching two and two third innings with three strikeouts. Bubba Jones absorbed the loss for Ferrum after throwing two thirds of an inning in relief.
