Brandy Troutman scored the eventual game-winner for Eastern Mennonite three minutes into the game off a pass from Morgan Tricarico.
Skylar Hedgepeth made it a 2-0 game with an unassisted goal at 22:03 and the lead held through halftime.
Juniala Ghally poked in an insurance goal for the Royals at the 41:28 mark off a pass from Lauren Hartzler.
Starting goalkeeper Ann Ghally was credited with the win, playing 55 minutes in net with no saves. Ferrum goalkeeper Mia Holmes played all 60 minutes in net with four saves.
