2023 ODAC Swimming Championships

GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- The Ferrum College women's swimming team competed in day two and day three action at the 2023 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Swimming Championships, being held Wednesday through Saturday, February 8-11, at Greensboro Aquatics Center.

THE BASICS
On Thursday, Ferrum's foursome of Jordan Prezio, Lauren Hackett, Emilie Fairman and Liza Montgomery competed in the 200 freestyle relay, placing 10th in the prelims and 11th in the finals. Montgomery swam the rugged 500 freestyle, where she placed 33rd. Fairman, Hackett, Prezio and Carley Dye all swam the 50 freestyle, placing 32nd, 43rd, 45th and 49th, respectively.

Prezio, Hackett, Montgomery and Fairman closed out the day in the 400 medley relay, where the Panthers finished 10th in the prelims and 10th in the finals.

On Friday, Prezio, Hackett, Fairman and Montgomery competed in the 200 medley relay and finished 10th. Prezio also competed in the 100 backstroke and was 26th.
