2023 ODAC Swimming Championships
Results

GREENSBORO, North Carolina --  Ferrum College's women's swimming team closed out the season Saturday, February 11, with day four action at the 2023 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Swimming Championships, held Wednesday through Saturday, February 8-11, at Greensboro Aquatics Center.

THE BASICS
Liza Montgomery opened the day by swimming the 1650 freestyle prelims. She was followed by the trio of Lauren Hackett, Jordan Prezio and Carley Dye, who all competed with 45 other swimmers in the 100 freestyle prelims. Emilie Fairman then swam in the 200 breaststroke prelims, and Montgomery closed

Fairman, Dye, Prezio and Hackett then swam the 400 freestyle relay prelims and qualified for Saturday night's finals. In the final, Fairman, Montgomery, Prezio and Hackett trimmed 23.5 seconds off Ferrum's time from earlier in the day, finishing 10th in 4:26.03.

BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"We ended the last day of the ODAC Championship meet with fast racing and four personal best times. The most exciting race of the meet was the 400 freestyle finals relay. Our relay team, who are all seniors, dropped a ton of time to beat Hollins and Guilford. It was a great way to end our season." --Head Coach Margaret Bisnett
