BELMONT, N.C. -- Andres Cortes and
Braeden Fluke each posted a pin for Ferrum College as the Panthers lost to Belmont Abbey College in Conference Carolinas men's wrestling, falling 38-12 tonight at the Wheeler Center.

THE BASICS
The 157-pound match was up first tonight, with Cortes starting things of for the Panthers with a fall over Balmont Abbey's Stone Busler in a time of 4:39. The Crusaders won the next four matches at 165, 174, 184 and 197. Included in that run were a pin, a tech fall and two decisions to open a 17-6 lead.
Fluke needed 4:28 in posting a pin over BAC's River Houck in the 285-pound weight class to trim the lead to 17-12. That was as close as the Panthers would get as Belmont Abbey then won the final four matches, including a pin and three tech falls, at 125, 133, 141 and 149.Â
