FERRUM, Va. -- Director of Athletics Cleive Adams has announced the hiring of Tyler Jump as Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at Ferrum College. Jump will work under first-year Head Coach
Morgan Milligan. He previously served a year at Ferrum during the 2022-23 school year under then-Head Coach Shelbylynn Adair.
Most recently, Jump served as Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at NCAA Division I Radford University. He spent two years on the Highlanders' staff in 2023 and 2024, where he handled several responsibilities, including practice planning, game coaching, film review, scouting, recruiting, and summer camps.
Jump has been the Associate Club Director for River Valley Juniors since 2021, coaching U12-U18 boys' and girls' players. He also served a year as Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Pulaski County High School in 2021, a year as Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach at Blacksburg High School in 2018, and a year as Assistant Coach with Beach Elite Volleyball Club in 2016.
As a student at Radford, Jump was Men's Volleyball Club President from 2017-20. He begins work at Ferrum in mid-June.
