BURLINGTON, N.C. -- The Ferrum College men's tennis team closed out its season with a 6-3 quarterfinal loss to Averett University April 16 at the 2010 USA South Tournament.

Darren Agee and Jay Dotson won at #5-6 singles, respectively for Ferrum.  Agee was a double winner for the Panthers, also winning at #3 doubles with doubles partner Bob Dill.

Dotson needed to win a third-set tiebreak for the victory, playing in his final career match.  Ferrum graduates four players this year, while six are eligible to return for the 2011 season.
