DANVILLE, Va. - Ferrum College dropped both ends of a USA South Athletic Conference tennis doubleheader this afternoon at Averett University, falling 8-1 in the men's match and 9-0 in the women's.

Women: Averett (3-10, 1-7 USA South), Ferrum (0-14, 0-9 USA South)

Men's Match
The Panthers trailed 2-1 after doubles, with Taylor Napier and Connor Moncure picking up the 8-6 win over Oliver Lindqvist and James Wright in the #1 spot. The Cougars then pounced, winning six singles matches in straight sets.

Women's Match
Averett led 3-0 after doubles and completed the shutout with six straight wins in singles.

Back On Court
Coach Rod Baker's women will return to action Sunday, April 3, at home against Meredith College. The USA South match gets underway at 10:00 a.m. Both Ferrum teams will then play at USA South opponent Methodist University Saturday, April 9, in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
