DANVILLE, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped at 7-2 USA South Athletic Conference men's tennis match to Averett University this afternoon on the road.

The Cougars swept the doubles matches to grab the early 3-0 lead. Ferrum was able to earn a pair of singles wins. Caleb Bellamy beat Mathias Reusch 7-5, 6-3 at #4 singles, while Riley Kern was a 6-0, 6-1 winner over Jon Smith in the #6 spot.
