FERRUM, Virginia – Director of Athletics Cleive Adams has announced the hiring of Garrett Roth as Head Women's Flag Football Coach at Ferrum College.

Roth comes to Ferrum from Cordova High School in California, where he established and served as head coach for the girls flag football program. He also spent a year as an advanced statistician with the NBA's Sacramento Kings.

As an honor roll student at Colorado State University, Roth earned his Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Media Communication in 2023.

Roth has worked with Go the Distance, a premier fundraiser at Del Oro (Calif.) High School, and with Colorado State's Youth Sports Camps.

The Panthers are set to begin women's flag football competition in Spring 2026 and will be competing among the NCAA Division II ranks in Conference Carolinas.
