2026 Women's Flag Football Finals
BRADENTON, Fla. -- Ferrum College's women's flag football team is preparing to open play in the 2026 Women's College Flag Finals, to be held Thursday through Saturday, May 7-9, at IMG Academy Stadium.
Ferrum will play two games on Thursday in pool play, beginning with Hendrix College at 10:00 a.m. The Panthers will then take on Alabama State University at 4:00 p.m.Â
Coach
Garrett Roth's team has a 17-4 record thus far in Ferrum's inaugural season. The Panthers won a share of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Flag Football regular season title. Freshman quarterback
Payson Shreeve earned first team All-Conference and was named the 2026 Conference Carolinas Player of the Year. Running back
Macy Taylor and Defensive Back
Anastasia Rogers were both second team selections.
Ferrum entered the Conference Carolinas Tournament as the #2 seed and advanced with quarterfinal and semifinal wins to the championship game before falling to #1 seeded Wingate University and finishing as runner-up. Three players were named to the All-Tournament Team: Taylor,
Jaden Hiers and
Samantha Pitzer.Â
