Norton and company rolled into Savannah, Georgia, with a 9-0 record to play in the Shrine Bowl, recognized by the National Junior College Athletic Association as the national championship game ... Norton’s team would face mighty top-ranked McCook Junior College out of Nebraska, winning a 16-0 shutout to claim the title.
