Named to National Junior College Athletic Association All-American team in 1982 from Ferrum. Member of Ferrum’s `1982 divisional state championship team. Two-time NJCAA All-Region selection and two-time member of Virginia All-State Team from Ferrum. Recipient of Ferrum College President’s Cup, awarded to the College’s top senior student-athlete each year, and member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Scored more than 2,000 points in collegiate career. Named to 1984 NCAA Division II All-American team from Radford University. Led Lady Highlanders in scoring in 1983 and 1984. Ten-year veteran police officer with the Roanoke City Police Department. Named Traffic Officer of the Year in 1987. Works with COPE (Community Oriented Policing Effort) and DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) programs.
