Rare three-sport athlete at Ferrum from 1983-87 * Member of Ferrum’s first class of NCAA Division III student-athletes * Four-year starter and team captain three years for women’s basketball team * In 1986-87, played on Ferrum team that competed in ECAC postseason tournament * Women’s Sports Foundation All-America honorable mention in 1987 * Ferrum Female Athlete of the Year in 1984, President’s Cup winner in 1985 and Bob Wilson award winner in 1987 * Four-year starter and team captain two years for volleyball team * Four-year starter and team captain two years for women’s tennis team * Returned to Ferrum and served 17 seasons as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach, 16 years as Head Volleyball Coach and eight seasons as Head Women’s Tennis Coach * Helped Ferrum win 1995 Dixie Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament and advance to NCAA Division III Tournament for first time * Helped Panthers to a runner-up finish at 1992 Dixie Conference Tournament * Coached Ferrum volleyball team to 1990 & 1992 Dixie Conference Tournament runner-up finishes * Coached 25 All-Conference and two All-Region volleyball players * Coached Ferrum’s only All-American in volleyball * Named the 1990 Dixie Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year * Led Ferrum to 1994 Dixie Conference Women’s Tennis Tournament runner-up finish * Coached 15 All-Conference tennis players
